Kindergarten and 1st grade students are creating "Celebration Kits" for Manna on Main Street, providing families in need with packs including cake mix, icing, balloons, candles, and more to ensure they can still celebrate special moments. 2nd through 6th grade students are creating "Blessing Bags" for Jenna's Blessing Bag, a foundation in honor of Jenna Burleigh continuing her mission and passion for caring for the homeless. Blessing Bags are backpacks filled with essentials, including personal care items, emergency supplies, food, and more, and distributed to the homeless community in Philadelphia.

Montgomery Elementary School

Montgomery Elementary School organized several service projects for the month of January to benefit the community. The Code Blue Shelter at Trinity Lutheran Church will also receive donations of wool socks, waterproof gloves, long johns, scarves, neck gaiters, ponchos, umbrellas, and more to keep those in need warm. Code Blue shelters are open when the outside air temperature falls below 30 degrees and provides a warm place for those experiencing homelessness. Montgomery Elementary is also cllecting for Cradles to Crayons, a group providing children experiencing homeless or low-income situations with the essential items to thrive at home, school, and play.
