Requests for evaluations to determine special education eligibility may be initiated by parents or educators. Parents may initiate requests either orally or in writing.
If you feel your child is struggling and potentially in need of an evaluation, you may contact a member of the school staff, or you may wish to speak with the special education supervisor or school psychologist for your school. The school psychologist and special education supervisor can review your concerns and discuss the process with you.
